Call for papers – UVAC journal special edition – Professional Doctorates

We are now planning next year’s special issue of the UVAC journal Higher Education, Skills and Work Based Learning. The topic of this is professional doctorates and it will be jointly edited by Dr Gail Sanders, Programme Director for the University of Sunderland Professional Doctorates and co-author of the forthcoming book The Professional Doctorate: A Practical Guide (Palgrave Macmillan) and Dr Rosemarye T Taylor, Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, USA.

The Call for Papers for this special issue is here; please feel free to share this widely with your colleagues and networks.  We are keen for the special issue to illustrate the breadth of innovation which is being represented in contemporary doctoral level study and therefore welcome abstracts and suggestions for potential submissions.

Key dates:

Submission of abstract by 26th July

Submission of full paper by 31st October

In order to increase the number of submissions from non UVAC member institutions, we are offering non members free access to the journal via the following temporary free access code so that those new to the journal can have a chance to investigate what it is publishing.  Please share this widely:
