Launched in National Apprenticeship Week 2015, the UVAC guide to Apprenticeship, Higher Apprenticeship and Degree Apprenticeship is aimed at assisting HEIs (working with their partners) and, on the basis of employer demand, to consider their involvement in the implementation and delivery of new apprenticeship standards, the delivery of existing higher apprenticeship frameworks and new degree apprenticeships.
The guide has been primarily produced for HEIs, but Further Education Colleges (FECs), training providers and other partners may also find it of value.
UVAC, as a leading university group in this area, has been asked to advise government on the rollout of degree apprenticeship. Read the full story here. To find out more about the employers involved in degree apprenticeships, see the BIS press release here.
The Skills Funding Agency have also produced guidance for employers and HEIs, which can both be found on their new higher and degree apprenticeship page - https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/sfa-higher-and-degree-apprenticeships
Further advice and guidance on apprenticeship is available from (UVAC).
